Join us and come network with regional healthcare professionals, health advocates, community groups, and government agencies who are interested in creating and advancing environmentally sustainable healthcare facilities in Rhode Island. This conference will provide a wealth of practical tools and resources to educate, motivate, and facilitate sustainable practices that increase operational efficiency, create extraordinary environmental benefits, and save costs.

This year’s keynote speaker, Janet Brown, will introduce the Healthier Hospital Initiative—a technical assistance, education, and training-based program designed to realize sustainability and safety across the healthcare sector. Workshop topics will present various tools and practices available for measuring sustainability initiatives, establishing green teams, and developing sustainability plans.

This conference is open and free to the Rhode Island community. However, registration is required. Additionally, healthcare professionals have the opportunity to receive Continuing Medical Education (CME) and/or Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits.
